Eg Sony doesn't believe in generations anymore, or doesn't have any nextgen only games, even though the majority of their exclusives at launch, and for the first year, as of now are still nextgen only. There's been plenty more, not to mention unusual narratives forming around half baked context. This is just a small selection off the top of my head.
Certain insiders predicting the PS5 would be $550-$600, and one believing the BoM to be higher than previous estimations we've had. Not a peep from those other insiders about Microsoft systems similarly having yield issues despite much lower stock. We now have retailer insiders saying they've recieved twice the number of PS5's as they have XSX/XSS's. Certain insiders claiming the PS5 is having major yield issues, being the reason for lower stock.
#Lost soul aside pre order 1080p
Also the game that was said to be failing to hit 1080p on PS5, has been shown running on the console at a native 4K, almost a year prior to release. Richard, Dictator etc from Digital Foundry, as well as Jason Schreier, all saying every developer they've spoken to has been saying the complete opposite, that they've been "evangelising" development on the PS5. Certain insiders claiming PS5 is a nightmare to develop for, failing to even hit 1080p in some games. Certain insiders posting SmartShift profiles about PS5 having to drop GPU speed greatly to accommodate CPU, affecting Tflops to as low as 5.4Tflops. Turns out one of AMD's new RDNA2 GPUs has a max clockspeed of 2.5Ghz (faster than the PS5's) and the other 2.2Ghz (roughly the same speed as the PS5's), so it's becoming increasingly clear these new GPUs are simply able to clock higher, which is something Sony simply took advantage of, and that MS decided not to (presumably for cost/yield reasons). Certain insiders claiming the PS5 is actually a 9Tflop console (or less), that the high clocks were just a last minute, desperate attempt to match the competition and that the system is unstable as a result. Certain insiders claiming the PS5 cannot run at max clocks on both CPU+GPU simultaneously.Ĭerny already clarified the PS5 can run both simultaneously many months ago. Not just that, but there's been a constant influx of basically fake news and rumours going around social media etc, many of which have been repeated on these very forums over and over. No newcomer is going to have the maximum 64k to pillage, as they haven't upgraded their bank yet.
The most effective way to do that is to raid bases with most credits, which naturally are high level ones. One of the endgame elements is to gather credits by raiding, and using them to buy skill decals.
And it's not that beneficial to raid lower bases which give less points and credits. Obviously, veterans have better gear and decals than rookies, but newcomers are unlikely to encounter them, at least on a regular basis, as they can only raid lower level bases during regional fights. There's no P2W in raiding/defending either, as all gear can be acquired with enough playtime, and the same goes for most of the skill decals. Most of the active players are on higher levels bronze -> silver -> gold -> platinum -> diamond. You can just ignore that portion of the game, leave your base undefended, and stay on the lowest bronze level. Your fighters can now be captured only for 4 hours, after which they're returned to you, and you can't lose the equipped non-premium decals (EDIT: and gear) when they're captured anymore.
